FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What sizes are available for FEP tubing?

We offer FEP tubing in a wide range of inner diameters (ID), outer diameters (OD), and wall thicknesses. Click here for our complete range of FEP tubes that we can supply from stock. We can produce almost all custom sizes. Please contact us to discuss the options.

Pricing depends on the selected diameter and volume. The more you order, the lower the price per meter. Each product has a price table.

FEP tubing is typically supplied in the longest available stock lengths. This means an order may be delivered in multiple sections—for example, 100 meters could be supplied as 2 × 50 meters, or 250 meters as 2 × 100 meters and 1 × 50 meters.
If your application requires a single continuous length, please contact us to discuss the available options. Custom cut-to-length pieces can also be supplied on request to match your specific requirements.

Yes, we support purchase orders (PO) for business customers.

To place an order via PO, please contact us so we can set up your company account and verify the necessary billing and delivery details. For first-time business customers, a simple credit check or company verification may be required depending on the order size and payment terms requested.

Minimum order values may apply for PO-based orders, a 25 euro small order fee is charged on orders under 100 euro.

Product related questions

What is FEP tubing?

FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) tubing is a transparent fluoropolymer known for its excellent chemical resistance, smooth inner surface, and high temperature performance. It is widely used in demanding environments such as laboratories, medical devices, and chemical processing.

FEP tubing offers high chemical resistance, excellent transparency, low friction, UV resistance, and a wide operating temperature range. It is also easier to install than more rigid fluoropolymers.

Key properties include:

  • Non-stick surface
  • Excellent electrical Insulation
  • Strong resistance to Chemicals and solvents
  • Transparency for visual flow control
  • Good mechanical flexibility

FEP tubing is transparent and more flexible, making it ideal for applications where visibility and easier handling are important. PTFE tubing is more rigid and typically used in higher-temperature or more mechanically demanding environments.

FEP and PFA are both high-performance fluoropolymers. PFA generally offers better mechanical strength and slightly higher temperature resistance, while FEP is more cost-effective and widely used for general-purpose applications.

Technical Specifications

What temperature can FEP tubing handle?

FEP tubing typically operates in a temperature range from approximately -200°C to +200°C.

Pressure ratings vary based on diameter, wall thickness, and operating temperature.

Ratings are for reference only, the application might have an effect on the properties. We always recommend extensive testing.

The minimum bend radius depends on the tubing dimensions. Smaller diameters allow tighter bends, while larger tubing requires a wider radius to prevent kinking.

We offer tight dimensional tolerances suitable for precision applications. The tolerance on both the ID, OD and wall can be found at the specifications of each individual product.

Yes, FEP tubing offers excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, bases, and solvents, making it suitable for highly aggressive environments. For applications requiring the highest level of chemical resistance, PTFE tubing may be preferred, depending on the specific medium

Yes, FEP tubing has excellent resistance to UV radiation and weathering, making it suitable for outdoor of UV applications.
